The VertaLux is a patient-friendly orthosis that combines a comfortable spacer-fabric front containg a pocket and polymer insert with a controlling rigid shell in back, thus providing plush yet firm support.

Features and Benefits

The posterior shell can be made of either a modified polyethylene for aggressive control (VertaLux) or from a soft tri-polymer lamination for softer security (VertaLux Lite).

The anterior panel is pre-drilled for attachment of optional ExtenderTM. The VertaLux provides both cornonal and sagittal control. The unisex VertaLux is a modular orthosis - any size front may be combined with any size back. allowing the orthosis to be fit with impeccable precission.

The VertaLux and VertaLux Lite are available in the following variations:

  • LSO mid-profile back with low-profile front
  • LSO mid-profile back with mid-profile front
  • LSO back with low-profile front
  • LSO back with mid-profile front
  • LSO back with LSO (xiphoid height) front
  • TLSO back with low-profile front
  • TLSO back with mid-profile front
  • TLSO back with LSO (xiphoid height) front

Available options are:

  • Three Non-standard Lordoses
    00º, 07º, 25º (15º standard)
  • No spinal relief
  • No spinal corrugation ring
